Abstracts

The conference aims to provide a forum for the presentation of the most exciting and new findings in enzyme discovery, mechanism, screening, engineering, and synthetic applications.
We cordially invite you to submit your abstract for both oral presentations or posters (which may be selected for a pitch talk). The abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee and upon request, ~24 contributions to the scientific program will be selected for oral presentation.

Please follow the guidelines provided in the form: author names and affiliations are mandatory. The author names will be printed exactly as given in the form. The name of the presenting author must be underlined. Abstracts are limited to one page only. Do not change any of the formatting settings in the template file.

Abstracts will be published exactly as submitted. After submission, abstracts cannot be changed anymore. The authors of the submitted abstracts will take responsibility of any intellectual property issues about the abstracts on their own. The organizing committee of Novel Enzymes has the legal right to use the submitted abstracts for conference purpose.

Note: Due to space limitations, we can accept a maximum of one abstract submission per participant only.

The presenting author will be notified about acceptance and scheduling. The presenting author must be registered for final acceptance of the abstract to the program and publication in the Abstract Book. Please note that the presenting author is not automatically registered by submitting an abstract. Regular registration implies payment of the registration fee. For registration, please click here:

Guidelines for poster presentations

Please provide the posters in Portrait format (DIN A0, height x width: 118,8 x 84 cm). The poster will be mounted throughout the whole meeting.
 Some of the best posters will be awarded by a jury at the end of the meeting.

Guidelines for oral presentations

Presentations should be prepared as ppt-files. Use of your own laptop is not recommended. Oral presentations will be restricted to 15 minutes in order to stay within schedules. The electronic files have to be provided to the organizers before the respective session to facilitate and fasten the procedures.
